NorthWolds Arts & Music has announced its first event which is a concert featuring the internationally known singer and guitarist Bob Fox.
Bob is well known on the festival and acoustic music scenes. He has appeared in the West End as ‘The Songman’ for the National Theatre’s production of Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Warhorse’. He is currently on the road with the touring production. He was twice nominated as ‘Best Folk Singer’ in the BBC Folk Awards of 2003 and 2004 and has appeared at many major festivals.
True to the NorthWolds Arts and Music ethos, the concert is being held in a small village hall at Burton Fleming in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This will provide an intimate atmosphere and deliver a close up experience of an artist normally seen on much bigger stages.
This will be the first of what’s hoped to be long run of concerts, workshops and hands on experiences in the smaller venues found in the rural areas of the North Wolds of Yorkshire.
The concert will take place on Sunday Oct 5th at Burton Fleming Village Hall.
